This product is another product I received courtesy of Influenster for me to test and review. I do not wear eyeliner on a daily basis. Actually, I do not wear eyeliner hardly ever...or at all. But I thought this would be a good time to start.
Influenster says: "Missing the spark? Get it out there with New York Color's Show Time Glitter Eyeliner Pencils! Play it soft by painting on precise, crystalline lines or vamp it up with bold jewel-encrusted designs. These incredibly daring liners are loaded with sparkling micro-glitter to bring impact to any eye look!"
I love glitter. Love love love. This is one reason why I was so excited to try this pencil out. It took me a few applications, but after a while, I had it down. This eyeliner applies easily, is creamy. It just glides right on. It is very dark black and I found that it smudges easily. The glitter does stay on well, but it is hard to wash off. Even after I had all of the liner off of my eyes, there was still left over glitter. I applied the eyeliner in the morning, and by the end of the day, it was smeared and my eyes looked really dark. I think this could be a great liner for special occasions. I wear it sometimes on Mondays, since Mondays are my dress-up days.
Here is a picture of me wearing the liner along with another brand of glitter liner on the bottom lash line. I only used the NYC liner on the top.
For those who are interested in buying the liner, it can be found for as little as $2.49 at chain drugstores such as CVS, which is where I always see the NYC products. Other Influenster users stated they were able to find some at HEB.

Broadway Nails imPRESS Press-on Manicure: My Verdict
Influenster is a website where individuals like you and me, can test products out and write reviews for them. Sometimes, Influenster will send you free products to try out and sometimes, they send you an ENTIRE BOX of free items. These boxes are called voxboxes and have certain themes. This year, I was one of the lucky people chosen to receive the "College 2012 VoxBox."
This box included some really great items, and one of these items happened to be press-on nails from Broadway Nails. I have never tried out press-ons before, so I was a little scared to try them out. I had no idea what kind of damage they would do to my nails. I got up the guts to put them on one evening, and I am so glad I did!
According to Influenster, Broadway imPress nails are "the revolutionary way to apply polish! Featuring advances nail technology, you can get a salon-perfect manicure in second - simply peel off, press on, and you're done. There's no drying, a killer shine and a manicure that lasts up to a week! And imPRESS is so easy to remove, you can change it up to match your modd as often as you want."There are 36 different colors to choose from which range from crazy, cute patterns to solid colors for those who are less outspoken.
The nails I received from Influenster were in a pattern called "Space Cadet." This pattern resembled almost a giraffe print, but there was glitter! (I love glitter.) All 36 varieties come in cute nail polish bottle shaped cases which make it super easy to keep all of the nails your don't use together.
The first thing I really liked about these nails, is how easy they are to apply. All you have to do is remove the backing from them and stick them on your nails, carefully, of course. It took maybe five minutes or less to put them all on.
The second I liked is they come in all nail sizes, which I loved because my nails are a bit small and I usually think the press-on nails in the drugstore look WAY too big for my nails, which is one reason I don't use them.
These nails really were shiny and they held on extremely well. They only lasted a few days though. I ended up getting peanut butter stuck in between one of these nails and my real nail. Oops!
The one thing I did not like about these nails, though, is the length. They were a bit too long. I type quite a bit, because not only am I a college student, but I am also a journalist. Having long nails makes it very difficult to type. I was able to file them down easily. I have read some previous reviews and I've heard some people don't like to file them, because some of the pattern will come off. It seemed to work fine for me.

Introducing...Moi!
Hey guys!,
I'm completely new at this, so don't judge me. I've started this blog for TWO reasons. The first is: I've wanted to start a blog for a little over a year now. I had no idea what I could write about, but now I think I have found the answer. This answer ties into the second reason I have for writing this blog. Which is: I have gotten some really awesome opportunities through a website called Influenster, and I would really like to share my experiences with the world (or whoever will listen). I love to hear feedback, so feel free to comment or shoot me an email with advice or criticism whenever I make a new post.
